St. Barnabas Anglican Church
Welcome to Our Church!
Saint Barnabas Church is a traditional Anglican parish of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ. We are a growing, mission focused, and family centered parish, the largest traditional Anglican Church in the metropolitan Atlanta area. Our lives are being transformed into the likeness of Jesus Christ, by grace through faith in Him. We cordially invite you to worship with us this Sunday. Please come and join us!
What do Anglican Christians Believe?
St. Barnabas faithfully maintains the Catholic and Apostolic Faith as expressed in the Anglican Tradition and the 1928 American Book of Common Prayer. This Faith is the same unchanging Faith revealed to the Apostles, recorded in Holy Scripture, and enshrined in the three great Creeds and Seven Ecumenical Councils of the undivided Church.
Our worship is centered on the Holy Eucharist or Holy Communion where we receive the spiritual food of the most precious Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. In this Blessed Sacrament, which is the Real Objective Presence of our Lord's Body and Blood, we truly receive His grace and are united with Him.
St Barnabas is a diverse congregation united by our orthodox belief and expressed in our worship together. We are Evangelical, Sacramental, and Liturgical Christians seeking to proclaim the Lord Jesus Christ to every creature by the preaching of the Word of God. In all things, we desire to glorify the Holy Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
Saint Barnabas Church is a member of the Anglican Province of America in the Diocese of the Eastern United States.
